How to Develop Your Telepathic Abilities Part 1

In my previous article, I gave a brief introduction to telepathy and what telepathy is.

In this article we’re going to go into detail about how it works, what to look for, and how to begin using it.

How Telepathy Works

Telepathy works because we are all connected.

Its fairly simple, but let me go into more detail.

We are all connected to what I like to call the Universal Mind.

It is similar to the Jungian concept of Collective Subconscious, but I would describe it as a shared thought space. This is where we can tune into information, just like we can tune into a radio station.

In this shared thought space that we can send and receive information as well.

This is also similar to the concept of the Internet.

Imagine you are sitting at your computer, and you send a message to your friend through IM.

That message is sent in the form of information to your friend’s computer, and he receives it and responds back.

It is much the same in the Universal Mind.

The actual mechanics of the Universal Mind deserve an article of their own, but for now, just think of a big mind that we have access to.

Becoming Aware

The biggest step to activating your natural telepathic abilities is awareness.

By simply becoming aware of your thoughts, and the energy that passes into your experience, you move closer to utilitizing these abilities.

So how do you become aware?

First, notice the chatter in your head.

This chatter will be in the form of voices, thoughts, or energy that is passing to and from your mind at all times.

Consider this: Where does all the chatter come from?

While some people could claim that it is all their imagination, I am certain that the total of all the information that passes through their mind is not just their imagination at work.

There is just too much information to be imagining!

Take a moment and notice the thoughts moving through your head.

Who are the people you are thinking of?

What conversations are you having with yourself, or others?

Who are the people thinking of you right now?

While some of the chatter comes from your imagination, there is just so much information moving through you. Imagine what you can do with that information once you become more fully aware :)

Taking the Next Step

I recommend over the next few days consciously watching all the chatter that comes into your head.

Then categorize it into groups:

1. My Own Voice - The voice you use to speak with your own mind. Notice its distinct tone. Also known as sub vocalization.

2. Imagination - Imagination is creating an image using your will. For instance, think of the house you grew up in. That is an example of using your imagination.

3. Possible Conversations With Other People - These are conversations, or chatter, that pop into your head with other people, that might be from other sources or your imagination, but you’re not sure.

4. Definite Conversations With Other People - These are exchanges that are so lively, so effortless that it doesn’t seem to take an act of will to create them. They just flow. You also don’t ‘force’ answers or conversations to happen in a certain way.

5. Other Peoples’ Stray Thoughts - These are one way conversations, or bursts of information, coming from other people. These are usually rhetorical conversations.

So, for the next couple of days, become aware of all the different types of chatter that comes into your head. Label them as you see fit, and begin to notice the difference between imagination, and conversations that seem genuine.

In my next article, I will write about our next step to developing our telepathic abilities.

Enjoy!

How to Develop Your Telepathic Abilities

Ever have a hunch that something was wrong with your children, that later proved to be correct?

Ever know something about a person in your life, that turned out to be accurate but you’re not sure how you knew it?

Ever think about someone, only to realize later that they were thinking about you, at the exact same time?

If so, you’ve had a telepathic experience!

Telepathy is communicating between two people, using non-physical means.

So no hands, words, mouths or feet people!

This is merely using the power of your mind to communicate.

And the good news is, we all have this natural ability.

When we were young, we were more accustomed to communicating in telepathic ways.

It seemed natural.

For instance, as children, we could easily send and receive emotional information.

If you were feeling happy, others could quickly share in the joy.

If you were feeling sad, then you would send out the signal that you needed a hug.

But over time, we grew up and we learned to hide these natural abilities from our parents, friends, teachers, and eventually ourselves.

We learned to camouflage ourselves to blend in more with society.

And as we blended, we shut down these parts of ourselves.

So how do we go about getting these abilities back?

And why would you even what them, you might ask?

Its easier to think of telepathy like a normal sense, just one that we don’t use as often.

While you could go on living without your eyesight, there is a benefit and joy to having our eyes.

We get to see the world, experience and revel in the luscious beauty it holds.

Its much the same with telepathy.

With telepathy:

  1. You can have deeper, more intimate connections with people.
  2. Communicate with anyone, no matter where they are.
  3. Gain comprehensive knowledge of your own Self.
  4. Increase your intuition, and knowledge about other people.
  5. And even keep an ‘eye’ on your children.

Not too bad for something that only yesterday seemed buried in our past!

So if you’re interested in how to develop your own telepathic abilities, keep an eye out for my next article.

I’ll go into greater detail on how you can become more aware of this fascinating and wonderful natural ability.
