The New World

You wake up in the morning just like usual.

Get your juice from the fridge, and sit yourself down at the table while you drink it.

You look out at the world and notice it looks just like another day, except you have this feeling like something is out of place.

You shrug it off as its just your imagination.

But Something nudges you to go outside.

You sigh and comply.

Out there, as you open the door, its the world, but something looks different.

You hadn’t noticed it in your morning fog, but there it is now, plain as day.

You’re in a New World.

You hadn’t noticed the shift, as it was happening too gradually for your conscious mind to be aware of.

But now you see all the work that was being done in the background, and it becomes clear to you that this is indeed a New World.

Because you see, you feel different today.

Its a new you, a lighter you, a more complete, whole and excited you.

And the world responds to you, just as you are.

It feels new and excited, too.

There are still all of the normal things, like trees and plants, houses and such.

But each of us is now something more than we were before.

We are Enlightened.

You see, in this New World, we are all Enlightened.

We feel, see, hear the same, but it feels so clear.

So easy now.

Our thoughts are full of grace and beauty.

Our minds are at ease with the wellness of the Universe.

And we all feel connected with everything.

It is in this world where things make sense.

We are cleared of doubts, as we are now awakened to our true nature.

And in this true nature, we see all for as it truly is.

Infinite, and a loving expression of the Source.

We laugh at how silly our old ways were, they seem so unpredictable.

And tiresome, but we forgive ourselves, for that was all we knew at the time.

This is a new time, we are ‘grown up’ in a sense, ready to take on new challenges that excite us, and stimulate us to grow.

We are ready to take our rightful place in our Universe.

The Path to Unfamiliarity

A tree spirit has been watching a man travel the same path over and over again for years and years.

One day she saw the man walking and decided to tell him,

“You have been at this juncture before my friend.”

He being a bit confused said, “Yes it does look familiar, but I don’t know why I keep ending up here.”

And she smiled at him and said, “Yes, that is because you keep treading the same path.”

The man, being a bit puzzled asked, “Yes, I know, but I’m not sure where I’m trying to go.”

She grew silent for a moment and asked him,

“Where do you want to go?”

He looked away for a moment,

“I don’t know. I’ve been walking through this forest for a long time and everywhere I go seems to look the same.”

She then said,

“If you don’t know where you want to go, then you don’t need to know where to go. You could just go anywhere, and it will be the same.”

“But I feel like I should be somewhere else, somewhere different. All this sameness just makes no sense to me. I want something new! Something exciting!

She pointed to the direction to her left and said, “Then go this way.”

He looked down that way and stated, “No I don’t want to go that way, that way looks scary. Its a place I’ve never been!”

She looked at him and shrugged and said, “Then why don’t you go this way?” As she pointed to her right.

He looked and sighed, “That’s the way I’ve always gone, but I keep ending up right here.”

She pondered the situation for a moment.

“Well, if you go to my right you’ll keep ending up here, and that won’t be exciting. But if you go to my left, you’ll travel into new territory, and you’ll gain the excitement you seek. Isn’t that what you want?”

He looked at her and said, “Yes that is what I want, but can’t I have the excitement without the unfamiliarity?”

She looked at him and laughed.

“You can but how exciting would that be?”

He laughed in agreement.

“I’ll just have to try that way.”

She nodded, “I think that’s what you wanted all along.”

The man thanked the tree spirit and headed on his way, on the new path, towards excitement and unfamiliarity.
