We are all in some way familiar with the concept of Karma.
That we come down to this Earth to work out life’s lessons.
That we come down to work out our troubles and past issues with our soul mates. To continue the work we started over the course of several past lifetimes.
But what is Karma exactly? And, knowing what Karma is, does it have any use?
I’ve often looked at Karma as we reap what we sow.
It is a sort of universal response to our vibrations that we send out to the universe.
You might say the Law of Attraction is now a more sophisticated update to this principle of Karma.
But I feel, the truth is, you don’t need Karma.
You don’t really even need the Law of Attraction. You don’t need any of those things, if you have the right mindset.
Let me explain.
The idea of Karma is we did not so good things to people in our past, and we’ve reincarnated in this life to work things out.
We’ve reaped what we’ve sown in our past lives and now we have to clean up our own mess.
We have lessons to learn in order to grow into more spiritually aware being so we can eventually become…..well become something right?
Ever think about what you are trying to become?!
That’s the rub.
We’re all here on this earth to work out Karma to become a better person.
But what would that better person look like? What would he or she be like?
What would this person do, think, feel, if he or she has worked out all of their Karma?
I’ve read it can take several thousand lifetimes to work out all the Karma. That’s a heck of a lot of incarnations!
I strongly believe there is a simpler and easier way.
I was musing upon the subject, and I had an insight that really blew me away.
I was in the middle of not feeling so good about a life lesson I felt I was learning, and I asked my guidance, “Do I have to actually learn all these lessons?” Do I need to learn them?
And the answer I got was no.
Which took me back for a second.
Aren’t we supposed to learn and grow and become better people?
Well, that is the common belief pattern, and our beliefs do shape our lives.
But what if we just skipped the whole Karma thing? What would be left at the end of all those lessons?
It would be Unconditional Love.
Woah. I said, that’s it.
Isn’t that the state we all try to attain? Isn’t that what the answer is to everything?
Yes, yes, and yes some more! My guidance told me.
So why go through all the pain, all the hardship, all the suffering, if you don’t have to?
The truth is, you don’t have to.
There is no reason to!
There is no benefit, no lesson, nothing to gain from learning those lessons.
The lessons are merely in our mind.
Why you might ask?
Well, what would you hope to gain from those lessons?
Really what would you hope to get from them?
I’d say it would be to learn to love in every situation.
But if that’s the case, isn’t it just easier to see love, to be love, in every situation to begin with?
Wouldn’t that make the whole life experience thing a whole lot easier?
And much more enjoyable?
I feel that there has been a belief system that has been passed down for centuries. That we have to suffer and feel pain in order to learn.
And because we are such powerful creators of our reality, we manifest it as a part of our growth process.
But where do we ultimately want to lead all of our growth to?
What is the summit?
Well, ultimately it will be Enlightenment, the merging of the Divine and the human while on earth, but love is the gateway.
Love is the key.
For without love, you cannot attain those higher levels of understanding.
Your locked out of Enlightenment without love.
So my whole point to this whole thing is, the lessons, YOUR lessons, you don’t need them.
They are not useful or needed as you Ascend. You’ll have to leave them behind anyways, so if you skip to the unconditional love part, you’ll save yourself time.
And who knows, maybe even a few thousand incarnations!
Let me know your thoughts and comments!
With love,
Ben
Very interesting!

Thank you for the kind words
Hey, I just came across your website by accident. Totally agree. See my version with a slightly different take…but same message - Love (especially self love, love yourself enough to forgive yourself and let go of guilt to rise above karmic cycle)

You have to sign in though, I am restricting access to my blog (didn’t want it to crawl in every search engine).
Peace!
Awesome! I love seeing others come to the same conclusions! Knowledge is truly liberating
